In today's market, the major systems manufacturers dominate the industry to the point of controlling dealer selection, participation and pricing. Often, contractual agreements prohibit distributors from representing competitive products. In effect, the ability of the dealer to offer choices regardless of specific client needs is limited. In fact, clients and architects have little choice when selecting respective manufacturer/dealer teams.
